Tailar and Jacques Ballou’s love story began with a simple swipe on a dating app—only to discover they had more in common than they could have imagined. Both hailing from the same small town in Texas, fate brought them together, and their journey led them to a dreamy wedding in their favorite city, New Orleans. Hotel Fontenot, with its Art Deco charm and impeccable hospitality, was the perfect backdrop for their celebration.

From an intimate candlelit terrace ceremony to a lively 2nd Line parade through the streets of New Orleans, every detail of their wedding reflected their love for the city's culture, music, and timeless elegance. With heartfelt moments, impeccable decor, and delicious cuisine, Tailar and Jacques’ wedding was a true testament to their love story—one that started with chance and culminated in an unforgettable day filled with joy, laughter, and romance

The couple’s wedding day started in the luxurious Fiddle Suite at Hotel Fontenot, where Tailar had her bridal portraits taken against the stunning backdrop of the soaking tub and elegant living room. Meanwhile, Jacques prepared with their children, making the morning even more meaningful. From the start, the excitement and anticipation set the tone for an unforgettable day.

The couple exchanged vows on Hotel Fontenot’s terrace, illuminated by candlelight against the night sky. The romantic ambiance perfectly captured their vision, making the moment even more surreal. After the heartfelt ceremony, guests moved to the grand ballroom for an evening of laughter, heartfelt speeches, and a delicious menu featuring local delicacies like the chef’s famous crawfish beignets.
